CoproNason gallery presents a group art exhibition “Good Samaritan's”. The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a New Testament verse appearing in the Gospel of Luke . (Also known as The Good Neighbor). This expression alludes to the parable about a Samaritan who rescues and cares for a stranger who had been robbed and badly hurt and had been ignored by a priest and a Levite. It's an allegory of the fall and redemption of mankind. The parable regains its message to modern listeners: namely, that an individual of a social group they disapprove of can exhibit moral behavior that is superior to individuals of the groups they approve; it also means that not sharing the same faith is no excuse to behave poorly, as there is a universal moral law .
A portion of the proceeds from this show will be donated to “The Dog and Pony Show” The music and art community is filled with talented people who share the plight of having no access to adequate healthcare. There is a national problem with our healthcare system and we all need to help each other in these dark times. All of the money donated will go directly to pay the bills of those who need assistance. The more money we raise the more people we can help.

Mathew Bone, "Like giving a kid a loaded gun"
In gallery 2 Mathew Bone present's a solo show of new work "Like giving a kid a loaded gun" where the precarious balance of punishment and reward, vice and virtue, abstinence and gluttony, are explored utilizing the vivid iconography of mythology and Catholicism as seen through the unfiltered eyes of a child...and the lasting effects that these strong and vibrant stories can have on the imagination of an adult.
.....Born into and reared by a clan of Tuscan Raiders in Los Angeles. Raised on a diet of comic books, horror movies, and pornography, Matthew injects a distinctive voice into his painting. Pride, lust, vengeance, the lurid underbelly of humanity, and the allegories that illustrate the consequences of it's revelation has long been the focus of Matthew Bone's work. By utilizing the conventions of pop culture, and it's willingness to embrace the artifice as the sincere, Matthew is able to create a reinvisioned modern mythology. Matthew's work can be seen internationally in galleries across the globe.
