Copro Gallery presents 'Hyperrealism Magazine - TOWARDS NEW WAYS' a group exhbition curated by Hyperrealism Magazine with artists featured from current issues of the publication. The aim of this exhibit is to start a discourse about the changing styles of Hyperrealism, Towards New Ways! Different Interpretations, themes and concepts leading to a fresh new vison within Conteporary Art. Firstly known as Superrealism, Hyperrealism stood on the foundations of the US photorealistic work of the late 1960s, but to go hyper, you must go above & beyond, which is exactly what Hyperrealism did. So, how far did it actually go? Did the Hyperrealists stray beyond the line of art, where their work became a mere example of superb skill, or did they, indeed, blur the lines between reality and art, towards new ways of hyper-artistic expression…
