Copro Gallery presents artist, Leslie Ditto's "Riding the Dragon". Her latest body of work focuses on legends, myths and supernatural causality. Inspired by the Year of the Dragon, Leslies show addresses people contemplating significant moments, anomalies, and coincidences in their lives to beliefs and practices surrounding luck, prophecy and spiritual beings.

Leslie Ditto was born in Memphis, TN where she attended Overton High School for the performing and visual arts. Leslie was accepted to Otis Parsons Art schol in 1988, but only breifly attended due to a terminal illness in her family. She would go on to teach herself how to paint inspired by the tradition of the "Old Masters" such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Rubens, Raphael, and Rembrandt. These strong influences, as well as a love for modern fantasy and surreal art, all contributed to her current style of painting.
